It was such an honor to have been invited to join

It was such an honor to have been invited to join these two amazingly unique and innovative musicians on their only duo tour. It was truly one of the thrills of a lifetime for me. I will never forget these times riding the waves and grooving with Phil and Bobby. Phil was one of a kind and I’ll always remember his philosophies of playing in 6/8 & referencing Elvin Jones. Big Love to the Lesh Family, Billy, Bobby, Mickey and the entire GD family. 💥🌹⚡️

21 years ago today my life changed forever for the

21 years ago today my life changed forever for the better! It was a blustery and balmy South Dakota afternoon on The banks of Twin Lakes where the beautiful Laurie Steichen and I were married by our dear friend, the Reverend Emmett J. Moran. Laurie’s father Edward proudly walked her down the aisle. My father Walt was my best man. We were surrounded by loving friends and family, many of which who traveled 100s and thousands of miles to be there with us and celebrate. Legendary rock ‘n’ roll, photographer and my “hippie mom” Lisa Law captured the proceedings on film. Young videographer Dylan Modell captured the ceremony and back stories on video. I think he was all of seven years old? Younger maybe! Dear friends, Johnny, Modell, Tommy Fitzgerald, and Glenn Hartman all performed during the ceremony. The music for the reception was fantastic!Featuring the greatest band in the world KIAB The Know-It-All-Boyfriends with many special guests. It was a night to remember! And I will always be grateful for the support from our friends and family throughout all of these years. And mostly, my undying love and respect for my wife is relentless! And together we celebrate our union and the most precious gift of all, our daughter Lydia ❤️ who is 18 and heading off to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago SAIC this coming Friday. We are so proud and excited for her to embark on her next chapters. At the same time, we are feeling a bit lost with knowing that she won’t be with us on a day-to-day basis. Love and love to my girls! Time for a 21 gun salute! 💥21⚡️ Yes

And I will always be grateful for the support from our friends and family throughout all of these years. And mostly, my undying love and respect for my wife is relentless! And together we celebrate our union and the most precious gift of all, our daughter Lydia ❤️ who is 18 and heading off to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago SAIC this coming Friday. We are so proud and excited for her to embark on her next chapters. At the same time, we are feeling a bit lost with knowing that she won’t be with us on a day-to-day basis.
